1. Definitions
-
"The Company," "We," "Us," "Our": Refers to Misfuelled Car Fixer Ltd.
-
"The Customer," "You": Refers to the individual, driver, owner, or corporate entity booking the service.
-
"Service": The mobile fuel extraction, system flushing, decontamination, or roadside assistance provided by our technicians.

2. Pricing and Upfront Payments
-
All prices quoted over the phone or via digital messaging are based on the information provided by the customer (vehicle make/model, fuel type, contamination type, and location).
-
Upfront Payments: To secure a rapid emergency dispatch and allocate a technician to your location, we require an upfront deposit or, in some instances, payment for the full amount before the mobile unit departs.
-
If the information you provided over the phone is incorrect (e.g., the volume of incorrect fuel is significantly higher, or AdBlue was present but not mentioned), we reserve the right to adjust the final price on-site.

3. Strict Cancellation Policy
Because we operate an emergency response dispatch service, our technicians are deployed and locked into your job immediately upon booking confirmation, preventing us from taking other emergency calls. Therefore, the following strict cancellation policies apply:
-
If you paid an upfront deposit and cancel the job: The Company will retain 100% of the deposit to cover dispatch logistics, fuel, and allocated labor costs.
-
If you paid the full amount upfront and cancel the job: The Company will retain 50% of the total amount paid to cover dispatch logistics, lost booking slots, and technician allocation.

4. Emergency Response Times & Call-Outs
-
While we strive to reach all locations within our quoted timeframes (typically 30–60 minutes), arrival times are estimates only.
-
We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to heavy traffic, road accidents, severe weather conditions, or equipment failure.

5. Vehicle Damages and Customer Liability
-
Pre-existing Damage: Putting the wrong fuel or AdBlue in a vehicle can cause immediate internal engine wear. We are not liable for any mechanical, electrical, or structural damage that occurred to your vehicle prior to our technician's arrival (e.g., if you started or drove the vehicle with incorrect fuel).
-
Our service is strictly a fuel drain and system decontamination flush. While our processes successfully resolve the vast majority of misfuelling errors, we do not guarantee that mechanical damage caused by the initial misfuelling can be reversed.
-
If a vehicle has been driven extensively with the wrong fuel, further mechanical repairs at a garage may still be required at the customer's expense.

6. Safety and Hazardous Waste
-
All contaminated fuel extracted from your vehicle becomes the property of the Company and will be safely transported, handled, and recycled in strict compliance with Environment Agency regulations.
-
Customers must follow all safety instructions given by our technicians while on-site. For safety reasons, customers and bystanders must remain at a safe distance from our ATEX-approved fuel pumping equipment during operation.

7. Warranty and Claims
-
We warrant that our services will be carried out with reasonable care and skill by certified technicians.
-
Any claims regarding the quality of the service provided must be reported to us within 48 hours of completion to allow for an internal inspection and diagnostic review.

8. Changes to Terms
-
Misfuelled Car Fixer Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
If you have any questions or require clarification regarding these terms, deposits, or cancellation policies, please contact us at misfuelledcarfixer.cambridgeshire@gmail.com before booking your service.
